The Balboa Park Learning Institute (BPLI) is an IMLS-funded professional development and learning community initiative in Balboa Park administered by the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership. They offer a wide range of classes at extremely reasonable rates for staff and volunteers of arts, science, and cultural institutions.
San Diego Continuing Education offers free computer classes at several campuses around the city. Don't let the price tag fool you - there is something for everyone here with beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of instruction in a wide range of topics: from Excel to Photoshop to PHP and from databases to network management. Classes start on a rolling basis.
