Museums and the Web 2009
April 15-18, 2009
Indianapolis, Indiana
The Balboa Park Online Collaborative and representatives from the Balboa Park Cultural Partnership, San Diego Air and Space Museum, San Diego Museum of Natural History, San Diego Museum of Art, and San Diego Museum of Man attended the Museums and the Web conference April 15-18, 2009. For many of us, it was a great introduction to the global MW community. Several of the attendees were able to attend workshops in addition to the regular conference sessions on topics ranging from drupal to programming for the iphone to interaction design and cultural RSS feeds. The sessions themselves were equally engaging and diverse - with presentations on innovative guided tour technology using location-aware services, using analytics tools to track success on the web, and one collaborative web project that spanned an entire country (New Zealand) - and that's just the beginning. If you didn't make the conference this year, read the full report on our blogs.
